June 19, 2020. – People are returning to their workplaces throughout Europe. It is nice to hear phones ringing again. Unfortunately, plywood demand and prices are low and the future is unclear. This creates hesitation in the market. As the order books are not full, some plywood producers get nervous with price setting. In normal circumstances this should create opportunities for plywood buyers, but today the market is not easy nor clear. Wholesalers don’t like the risk of slow stock rotation, even if they would get the material cheap.
