German expectations further improving

Business expectations in Germany have been improving for the third month in a row. In July, the sectors of Construction, Trade and Manufacturing were all more satisfied with their business outlook. They all have a share in Germany’s plywood import.

In relation to the current global economic outlook, the German expectations seem optimistic. According to our own sources the current sentiment in the plywood market is more stagnant. Many of the purchasers are on holiday, as are several industrial end users. August orders are confirmed but September waits for more information on the activity level.
